Reasons To DisagreeJust make one universal subsidy, which people can either save, or live on. if they don't work and save, then they will live their entire lives at that level. if they save, they'll retire rich. it's simple. 20 December 2007
there will be no special cirstances for those who have lost there jobs money comes at such an abundance in accordance with there employment they often abuse money as it comes so regulaly. unemployed buys $50 phone , employed $800 phone 18 February 2010

Reasons To AgreeI am a great believer in this form of welfare. It needs to go one step further though and diminish down to nothing. My suggestion is one weeks welfare entitlement for each 3 months worked. IRD could easily calculate this entitlement based on tax returns 25 March 2006
