1) More tax money should be spent on police and prisons to make NZ safer

2) The NZ Justice system works well

3) Victims of crime are treated adequately by the police and justice system

4) Current punishments for small crimes is too weak

5) Current punishments for hard crimes is too weak

6) Marijuana should be decriminalised, eg a $100 fine with no criminal record

7) Marijuana should be legalised, eg no fine and no criminal record, but limits on how much can be grown

8) A "Not Guilty" verdict means someone is innocent.

9) Defendents who were found not guilty, must prove their innocence before any compensation should be paid

10) The death penalty is the correct punishment for mass murderers.

13) Professional juries are better than the current system of peers. (eg 12+ are still selected by ballot, and some can be objected to by either lawyer, however rather than a random selection from the electoral role, these people are trained and paid to attend court every day.)

14) Parole should be abolished for violent and repeat offenders

15) Speed cameras should be limited to accident prone areas where those areas are sign posted

16) Parents should be able to hit their children with an open hand when they have done something wrong

17) The police should prosecute cases even if they probably won't win

18) 3 strikes and you're out

19) The provocation defence for murder should be repealed
