The age for drivers licenses should be raised from 15 years to 18 years
I strongly disagree because:
That's what the driving license test is for.

Economy and Company Law -
The super fund should increase the proportion invested in NZ
I strongly disagree because:
It should invest wherever it thinks it will get the best long-term return (subject to a few possible "moral" constraints)

Tax -
A 2.5% cut in income tax together with a 2.5% GST increase and a 2.5% benefit increase is better than status quo?
I am neutral because:
Those things are not all equal because some household expenses (eg. mortgage payments or rent) do not have GST. Also a 2.5% increase in GST is likely to produce a slightly less than 2% one-off inflation change.

Tax -
Tax rebates for families are better than tax cuts
I strongly agree because:
Tax rebates for children used to work very well until National stopped tax rebates for children and as a result our children are more at risk than they have ever been this century. Lets think about our children rather than ourselves for a change; they are our future! Many people forget that as one gets to retirement age the more children we have the less likely we will become lonely and forgotten. The memories of our children are our only memorial.

Tax -
We should help young couples buy their own home with funds raised by a capital gains tax or higher stamp duty.
I am neutral because:
Instead of subsidising rents the government should control rents to stop the incredible rise of the cost of housing. Some rents have become obscenely high and of course WINZ has to subsidise the rent for lower income people. This goes into the landlord's pockets and only drives up the price of housing. By putting an affordable limit on rent prices perhaps the cost of housing will ease, or at least stop rising. It will ease the burden on the tax payer at the other end.

Tax -
NZ should give tax cuts to higher incomes
I partially disagree because:
I think a cut would help other people more than the rich people, but some have worked hard to get where they so why should they have to pay more in tax for there success.

Tax -
NZ should give tax cuts to lower incomes.
I strongly agree because:
Someone has to do the lower paid jobs, if they get more out of working then it could mean more people can afford to come off a benefit. As I know allot of people on benefit's that earn more than people that are on min wage.
